Thirty-five members of the Eastern District Junior Police Call (EDIST JPC), led by five EDIST JPC Honorary Presidents, went to Nanyang in Henan Province for a cultural exchange from August 5 to 10.

The delegation toured some landmarks, including Wuhou Temple, Dinosaur Relics Park and Laojieling Scenic Area. They also visited the Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau where a local special police squad showcased their equipment to the delegates. Meanwhile, the JPC members established profound friendship with local teachers and university students, who accompanied them throughout the exchange programme.

The trip enabled the JPC members to get a better understanding of the culture, history as well as economic and technological development of Nanyang. It also provided an opportunity for them to strengthen their team spirit and self-discipline.
