I write to express my appreciation and support for the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) for tirelessly standing by their commitment to maintaining law and order in Hong Kong and exercising professionalism and civility in the midst of insults and provocations in the past few months.

Despite their tremendous and even sacrificial efforts, police officers sadly do not have the deserved respect from all Hong Kong citizens. That is why I feel I should speak up and convey my gratitude and support for the Force.

Hong Kong owes our stability and prosperity to our fine HKPF. The majority of the Hong Kong people are on the side of the Police and will give our continued support.

Protests have lasted for several months in Hong Kong. Rioters committed arson, damaged public property and caused inconvenience to innocent people. This is unacceptable.

Hong Kong police officers have exercised restraint and some of them sustained injuries during the course of duty. I praise the Hong Kong Police Force for your professionalism in upholding law and order and protecting Hong Kong citizens. Keep it up and well done.

In the past few weeks, many mobs broke into retail shops and destroyed private property for no reasons. These violent and intimidating acts are disgusting and should not be tolerated in Hong Kong. Hong Kong needs to restore its law and order.

I would like to express my appreciation to Hong Kong police officers for their efforts, bravery and professionalism. Please take care and be safe in all operations. My prayer is with our beloved police officers.
