Commander of Tseung Kwan O District (TKODIST) Mark Anstiss, Sai Kung District Fight Crime Committee member Mr Cheung Chi-ping, representatives of Mang Kung Uk Village and Hang Hau Rural Committee as well as other community representatives took part in a winter precaution publicity campaign in Mang Kung Uk Village on January 17. Police officers and community stakeholders distributed publicity materials carrying anti-crime messages to villagers to alert them to strengthen household security and take care of their personal belongings.

Speaking at the event, Mr Mark Anstiss expressed his gratitude to all community stakeholders for supporting the police in promoting crime prevention. He added that local residents have an important role to play in assisting the police to fight crime and he encouraged residents to report crimes to the police so as to expand the intelligence network of the police.
