As part of Lantau District's ongoing commitment to discouraging students and young people from experimenting with and abusing drugs and other illegal substances, Deputy District Commander of Lantau District (LTDIST) Simon Southgate led officers of the Police Community Relations Office to conduct a talk at Discovery College in Discovery Bay before the Chinese Lunar New Year, with the aim of raising students' awareness of the dangers and negative effects of abusing substances such as illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco.

Through various activities including games and role play, the students developed a better understanding of different types of dangerous drugs, as well as potential traps trending in the community.
