To raise awareness of personal security and safety in hospital premises, Wong Chuk Hang Hospital invited the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI) to conduct a comprehensive security survey for the hospital. Officers of RCPO HKI made a number of security recommendations such as ways to improve the hospital's facilities and to strengthen its security procedures.

Officers of RCPO HKI also held a seminar on the security of the hospital and of individuals as well as scam prevention. The seminar enabled employees of the hospital to gain a better understanding of crime trends and raised their awareness of crime prevention.

The management of the Wong Chuk Hang Hospital presented a certificate of appreciation to officers of RCPO HKI for the informative seminar and various recommendations.
