In view of the ongoing class suspension announced by the Education Bureau due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Road Safety Office of Traffic New Territories South (NTS) Region has coordinated with several primary schools and kindergartens in the region to provide e-classes to enhance students’ road safety knowledge.

NTS officers conducted video conferences with students via an e-learning internet platform and broadcast road safety cartoons to strengthen students’ awareness of road safety during the class suspension period. The officers talked about the latest traffic accident trends as well as the advantages of using pedestrian crossing facilities. They also offered smart tips to students on how to avoid traffic accidents. The students were encouraged to share what they had learned with their family members.

NTS Road Safety Office will continue to make use of technology to disseminate road safety information to students.
