The COVID-19 outbreak has posed an unprecedented challenge to society and the Force. During this unparalleled time, the management of Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) has maintained close communication with its frontline officers to listen to and appreciate their needs and concerns in the course of discharging their duties, with a view to providing better internal support.

In March, TWDIST Commander Kerry Carew visited officers stationed in the quarantine camp at Tso Kung Tam Outdoor Recreation Centre to show his appreciation to their commitment to duty during this challenging period. Mr Carew also took the opportunity to visit families with children who had just completed their 14-day quarantine confinement, presenting them with toys and snacks on behalf of TWDIST officers.

Mr Carew also met with TWDIST Tier 2 officers at the quarantine centre in Chun Yeung Estate and expressed his gratitude for their dedication to the fight against COVID-19. Anti-epidemic supplies prepared by TWDIST officers and members of the public were distributed to the officers in recognition of their unfaltering professionalism under these very testing circumstances.
