“Anti-epidemic Loving Care”, a campaign sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, was organised by Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (New Territories North Region) in collaboration with Road Safety Team of Traffic New Territories North (T NTN) and staff members of Sam Shui Natives Association Huen King Wing School on July 11 and 12 during which “fortune bags” were handed out to people in need in the Region in a bid to promote anti-epidemic and road safety messages.

Led by Senior Superintendent of T NTN Chu Ki-kin, T NTN officers joined hands with other volunteers to prepare 10 000 “fortune bags” carrying face masks, hand sanitisers, bagged rice and tissue paper, together with promotional leaflets on road safety and the prevention of epidemic. Some of the “fortune bags” were distributed to senior citizens in Tai Po, aiming at disseminating information on epidemic prevention as well as promoting pedestrian and cycling safety. The rest of the “fortune bags” were distributed to senior citizens and the disadvantaged across the Region.
