Commissioner Tang Ping-keung, accompanied by Commander of Kwai Tsing District (KWTDIST) Tse Chun-chung, visited frontline officers at Tsing Yi Police Station on August 26. Officers from various units briefed the Commissioner on the development of the district and their efforts in upholding the belief of “no livelihood issue is too trivial” in community policing.


During the visit, the Commissioner chatted with frontline officers and thanked them for their tireless contribution in safeguarding key infrastructures in the district amid the social unrest. In addition, the Commissioner expressed his gratitude to auxiliary police officers who worked shoulder to shoulder with regular officers of KWTDIST to combat the outbreak of COVID-19.


The visit by the Commissioner was undoubtedly encouraging to frontline officers. Under the leadership of the Commissioner, KWTDIST officers are confident in living up to the Force’s motto of “Serving Hong Kong with Honour, Duty and Loyalty” and protecting Hong Kong.
