On September 13, officers of Police Community Relations Offices, District Intelligence Sections and Patrol Sub-units of Central Distirct (CDIST) and Western District (WDIST), together with Chairman Mr Ip Yik-nam and Vice Chairman Mr Chan Wai-chuen of District Fight Crime Committee (Central and Western District), Special Constables and volunteers, inspected gathering hotspots of foreign domestic helpers, including the areas near General Post Office, Edinburgh Place, Statue Square and Chater Road Pedestrian Precinct in CDIST, as well as Belcher Bay Park and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park in WDIST. Leaflets and mask envelopes were distributed to domestic helpers to remind them to beware of deception, comply with the regulations on the mask-wearing requirement and the prohibition on group gatherings in public places, and maintain an appropriate social distance.
