Following the launch of the anti-deception campaign “Project UNVEIL”, Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) and the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) jointly ran three online anti-deception seminars in November to promote anti-deception messages to over 280 citizens.

The participants of these seminars comprised members from various sectors of the community, such as Tsuen Wan District Fight Crime Committee, Tsuen Wan Rural Committee, Tsuen Wan Trade Association, property management companies, primary and secondary schools within the district, social workers and the elderly.

In order to enable the education sector to have a better understanding of the hands-on experience of introducing financial education, representative of the Investor and Financial Education Council was invited to the anti-deception seminar targeting primary and secondary schools within the district to introduce the importance of financial education and related teaching resources to the school staff. Through financial education, young people can develop good habits and proper attitudes towards money management.

After the seminar, TWDIST also invited the representative of Physical Fitness Association of Hong Kong, China to teach the participants how to do stretching exercise with a view to allowing them to get in shape to combat the epidemic.
