Over the years, the Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) has leveraged advanced technologies to enhance the Force’s training capabilities. On November 26, representatives of HKPC took part in the Innovation and Technology (I&T) Trade Show 2020, an online event organised by the Efficiency Office and Cyberport.

The Trade Show aimed to introduce to government bureaux and departments the latest I&T solutions for the purpose of providing better public services as well as pursuing continuous improvements. The event also deepened the solution providers’ understanding of the business needs of the Government.

The Trade Show invited 37 start-up companies specialising in virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, etc., to showcase their innovations. HKPC got a deeper understanding of the latest I&T solutions implemented in various industries and would further explore how these solutions could be applied to the Force, especially in the training aspect.
