Central District (CDIST) organised a seminar for operators of liquor-licensed premises in Lan Kwai Fong area on December 16, 2020, with a view to strengthening mutual communication and cooperation to establish a safe and business-friendly community. With the support and coordination of Vice Chairman of Lan Kwai Fong Association Mr Jonathan Zeman, the seminar attracted the attendance of over 30 owners and licensees of 24 liquor-licensed premises.


After the opening remarks by Acting Commander of CDIST Liauw Ka-kei, CDIST officers including Police Community Relations Officer, Sub-Divisional Commander of Peak Sub-Division and Officer-in-charge of Licensing Sub-unit gave briefings on the crime situation in Central District and Lan Kwai Fong area, the Police’s enforcement actions in view of the anti-epidemic measures implemented by the Government, inspection of liquor-licensed premises, as well as the crowd control measures implemented by the Police during festive seasons. The attendees were also encouraged to provide crime information to the Police. The seminar enabled the attendees to gain a better understanding about how they can facilitate enforcement actions of the Police.
