On December 11, 2020, the music video of the new Police Theme Song “Safeguard Hong Kong” was proudly selected as the Outstanding Creative Video and Outstanding Music Video in the Police Video Exhibition 2020 cum the 4th Police Video Development Symposium organised by China Police Daily. The exhibition received more than 1 000 nominations from various Police units in China and the Force was honoured with the awards.

“Safeguard Hong Kong” was composed and presented to the Force by artiste Mr Chung Chun-to in appreciation of the Force’s efforts in protecting Hong Kong and its professionalism and resilience displayed under the most challenging and difficult situation during Operation TIDERIDER. The music video was produced by the Hong Kong Police College and officially debuted in October 2020.
