On February 2, Chairman of Sha Tin District Fight Crime Committee Mr Li Sai-wing and Vice-chairperson of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong Mr Chan Yung presented pennants to officers of Police Tactical Unit of New Territories South (NTS), District Crime Squad and District Anti-Triad Section of Shatin District (STDIST) and Task Force Sub-Unit of Shatin Division, in recognition of their swift detection of a burglary, a blackmail case as well as a robbery and wounding case between August 2020 and January 2021.


The community leaders commended the officers for their professionalism in maintaining law and order as well as their efforts in communicating with community partners to fight crime. NTS Regional Commander Mak Chin-ho and STDIST Commander Leung Tsz-kin expressed gratitude to the community leaders for their recognition of the officers’ performance and affirmed the Force’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order and joining hands with the public to fight crime.
