Recruitment Division (RECDIV) launched “Project ACHIEVE” in 2018 to encourage post-secondary students to join the Force after graduation and enhance their preparedness for the recruitment selection process. Seventeen post-secondary institutions and over 350 students have joined the project for year 2020/21.

In light of the pandemic, RECDIV conducted online workshops on physical fitness and interview skills for project members between January and February 2021. Over 70 and 140 project members participated in the fitness workshops and interview workshops respectively.

During the fitness workshops, police ambassadors offered tailor-made physical training programmes to the participants, and provided guidance for and corrected the postures of them. The interview workshops provided information and training for the project members regarding skills during self-introduction and group interview sessions, and enhanced their general knowledge of police duties through a question and answer session. Amid the pandemic, RECDIV will continue to utilise technology to engage with project members to enhance their preparedness for the recruitment selection progress.
