With the support of Mr Tso Tat-ming, Chairman of the Association of Heads of Secondary Schools of Tsuen Wan, Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi, Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) conducted an online seminar jointly with the Rehabilitation Unit of the Correctional Services Department (CSD) to promote law-abiding awareness among students of a local secondary school in late February.

In the seminar, the officers talked about the common types of juvenile crime, cybercrime and cyber security. The CSD officers then explained the serious consequences of breaking the law by sharing the experience of offenders and what everyday life was like in correctional institutions. Officers from the two departments also encouraged students to participate in the events of Junior Police Call and Rehabilitation Pioneer Project.

TWDIST Commander Kerry Carew thanked the Rehabilitation Unit of the CSD for their unwavering support and looked forward to further collaboration with them in a bid to nurture students to become law-abiding citizens.
