Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) has recently launched the “Law and Love” Project to enhance students’ understanding of police work, increase their legal knowledge and educate them the importance of abiding by the law through activities including a drama, a law quiz, adventure activities and court visits.

Tung Wan Mok Law Shui Wah School is the first school to join the project. On May 7, TMDIST officers, representatives of Tuen Mun District Secondary School Heads Association and the school, together with over 20 participating students officiated at the launching ceremony. After the ceremony, the students watched a drama and a short video scripted and starred by young officers of TMDIST. Afterwards, the students participated in a law quiz. TMDIST Junior Police Call Honorary President Mr Hui Man-kit had been invited to film a video to explain the answers to the quiz from his professional perspective as a lawyer, which enabled the students to think about the consequences of committing crimes.
