The Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) was presented with the “Programme Area Accreditation (PAA) Operator Award” by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). HKPC was commended for its outstanding track record in delivering quality accredited programmes with sufficient quality assurance competency at organisational and programme area level. Deputy Director 2 of HKPC Ip Che-man received the award on behalf of HKPC at the appreciation and commendation presentation ceremony on June 24.

The award further recognised HKPC for its contributions in jointly working with HKCAAVQ to pursue quality assurance and quality enhancement over the years. Being the first government department to have achieved the PAA status in the category of “Vocational and Professional Education and Training” up to Qualifications Framework Level 5, HKPC will continue to augment police training to support the Force’s strategic directions and equip officers with the necessary knowledge and skills to serve Hong Kong with Honour, Duty and Loyalty.
