The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Hong Kong is an annual event organised by the Hong Kong Special Olympics to raise funds for supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities to take part in the Special Olympics Games worldwide. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, participants of the 2021 LETR for Special Olympics Hong Kong were required to select a 3.5 km route and complete the run within the period from April 18 to May 18.


The Force raised over $0.79 million out of a total donation of about $1.6 million. Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chan Man-tak presented the award certificates to the top three fundraising Formations, namely Kowloon East Region, Hong Kong Island Region and Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force as well as the highest fundraising award certificate (overall individual) to Superintendent Yu Kong on September 29.
