Chief Executive Mrs Carrie Lam officiated at the Gold Award Presentation Ceremony of the Hong Kong Award for Young People (HKAYP) 2021 at the Government House to present awards to the recipients on December 11.


Commissioner Siu Chak-yee, Chief Superintendent of the Police Public Relations Branch (PPRB) Kwok Ka-chuen and Senior Superintendent (Media Liaison and Communication) of PPRB Leung Chung-man were invited to attend the ceremony. At the ceremony, the Commissioner praised the Junior Police Call (JPC) awardees for overcoming many challenges to complete all required sections. He also expressed his appreciation to all volunteer instructors for their dedication to nurturing the youth. Under the Hong Kong Police Operating Authority (HKPOA), five JPC members were awarded the Gold Award Certificates, while a volunteer instructor received a Certificate of Recognition for 10 years of service.


On December 4, two volunteer instructors of HKPOA were presented with the Long Term Service Badges of Recognition and the Certificates of Appreciation for 40 years of service at the 60th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon of HKAYP.
