During the epidemic, Tuen Mun District (TMDIST) maintains close contact with schools in the district through various means to promote anti-crime messages to students in order to strengthen their law-abiding awareness. On February 11, officers of TMDIST, together with a non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) Police Community Liaison Assistant, delivered an online crime prevention talk for a secondary school in the district. Officers explained anti-crime information to NEC students concerning cyber crime, school bullying and violent crime, etc. The participants were proactive in asking questions during the question and answer session.

Since last year, TMDIST has maintained contact with principals and teachers in the district and exchanged views with them via online meetings. Due to the epidemic, TMDIST will continue to engage with schools and other stakeholders in the community via various means including online meetings.
