To support the Psychological Services Group’s psychological wellness programme “HERO – Healthy and Resilient Officer”, the Psychological Services Group (PSG) ran the special music programme for police officers for the second time on April 1, with the return of the same host, the veteran disc jockey Mr Cheng Tse-sing. In the light of the dire epidemic situation, the PSG wished to offer this “HERO Song Dedication Station” as a platform for police officers to mutually express their support and encouragement, and also as a reminder to officers of the importance of self-care and caring for their family members while fighting the epidemic.

Force members have always been on the frontline against the epidemic and need to work under immense pressure and risk. Amongst the many song requests and messages that the PSG had received, the majority wished to send support to the frontline and supporting officers who have participated in anti-epidemic work. Other messages contained words of care and blessings towards officers and family members who were infected with COVID-19, and wished for their speedy recovery. During the programme, audience was eager to express their real-time support and blessings through the live chat room, thus livening up the overall atmosphere.
