Following the success in 2018 and 2020, the Force once again won the Global and Hong Kong Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise (MIKE) Awards in 2021, in which the remarkable performance and innovative practices in knowledge management (KM) of the Force are recognised. Amidst the epidemic, police work has been extremely challenging. Different units of the Force, however, are still committed to utilising technology platforms and innovative means to promote KM, with a view to enhancing the performance of individual officers and the overall organisational capability of the Force in providing better services to the community.

At the Asian Knowledge and Innovation Forum 2022 cum MIKE Award Presentation Ceremony held on April 27, 2022, Director of the Hong Kong Police College cum Force Knowledge Officer Wong Chung-chun and Deputy Director (2) of the Hong Kong Police College cum Chief Knowledge Champion Ip Che-man received the awards on behalf of the Force.

The Global MIKE Award marks the highest level of accolades in the KM field and a global benchmark in assessing KM and innovation practices. Its judging panel comprising experts from all over the world evaluates the performance and effectiveness of KM and innovation in different organisations.
