The Recruitment Division has been adopting various recruitment strategy to introduce the latest recruitment information to the public. The debuted “Police Fact File” is the first TV programme on police recruitment collaborated with TVB. The episodes cover recruitment information, welfare benefits and diverse job nature of the Force.


Most members of the public know about the Force through movies and TV programmes. They may have query and misperceptions on police work after watching the movies and TV programmes. Three artistes visit Tsim Sha Tsui Police Station, Yau Ma Tei Police Station and Police Sports and Recreation Club to make “fact check”, through which information of the Force is explained. One of the artistes plays the role of “Leung Sir” to give briefing in a light-hearted and interesting manner. Physical Training Instructor Paul Sir, Zaffar Ifzal of Emergency Unit of Kowloon West (KW) and Yan of Police Dog Unit (PDU) are also invited to explain the entry physical fitness test, decoy operations and duties of the PDU respectively. Officers of Traffic KW introduce the configuration of the police vehicles. With the full support and assistance of all relevant units, the shooting and production of the programme progressed very smoothly.


The episodes of “Police Fact File” are broadcast at 7.30pm, before the start of “Scoop” on TVB Jade between May 29 and June 5. Please stay tuned!
