The Command Courses suspended previously in response to the epidemic situation and operational requirements are being resumed progressively since May. The restarted ones include the Intermediate Command Course for Chief Inspector and Senior Command Course for Superintendent respectively. The first class of the Junior Command Course (JCC) in 2022, which finished on June 9, was attended by 20 inspectors and senior inspectors from different major formations and staff from other units.


To meet the training needs closely, the comprehensive and diverse contents of JCC cover media training, professional image building, trend of technological crime, sharing by injured officers on recovery process, as well as skills for handling social issues and stress management. Legislative Council member Mr Tang Fei was invited as a guest speaker to analyse the political status for enhancing the trainees’ understanding of the situation. Visits to a telecommunications operator and Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Centre were also arranged for the participants to comprehend the latest technology trend and connection between the Force and ethnic minorities.
