The Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre and Integrated Youth Training Camp at Pat Heung (JPC@Pat Heung), which was used as a quarantine unit between March 2020 and May 2022, has been returned to the Force. The availability for training at the Centre has been resumed since June 1.

With a view to strengthening the officers’ understanding about it, the Centre organised an Experience Day on June 17. A total of 56 officers from Police Community Relations Office (PCRO) of various Districts attended. The environment, future development and various newly emerged sports of the Centre were introduced to the attendees. An experience workshop on policing work and a demonstration of Chinese-style flag raising training were also held on the same day. The Experience Day deepened the participants’ understanding about the contents of the training provided by the Centre so that their respective Districts would plan activities for the teenagers more effectively. The Centre will continue organising Experience Days in the future. PCRO officers from all Districts are welcome.
