Tai Po District (TPDIST) has produced recently a series of “anti-deception advertising stickers” and “anti-deception driving licence holder” with comprehensive and clear messages printed on them for the public to understand the latest modus operandi of scammers and enhance their awareness of deception. On July 7, District Commander of TPDIST Ma Wai-hing, Chairperson of District Fight Crime Committee (Tai Po District) Ms Lee Sai-yin, Chairperson of TPDIST Junior Police Call Honorary President Council Mr Chan Pui-tim, together with representatives of the industries and community leaders, went to the minibus terminuses and taxi stands in the District to put up “anti-deception advertising stickers” in the compartments of minibuses and taxis, and distribute “anti-deception vehicle licence holder” to drivers. Afterwards, they visited local restaurants to put up advertising stickers on the dining tables and distribute “anti-deception facemasks” to diners for promoting anti-deception messages to the public jointly with the industries in the District.
