Debut of live broadcast on television

It will be the first time for the Ceremony to be live broadcast simultaneously on RTHK 32 and Police Facebook. Artiste Mr Eddie Kwan and his daughter Ms Fabienne Kwan will be performing together.

Debut of TV episodes

It will be the first time for RTHK to make the true stories of the awardees into eight episodes of Good Citizen Story about cases of violence, indecent assault, theft or lifesaving. The awardees will share their experiences in the episodes, which will be broadcast on RTHK 31 between 6.30 pm and 7pm every Tuesday from August 23 onward.

Debut of the comic book

It will be the first time for the publication of Good Citizen Alliance, a GCA comic book produced jointly by ten local and foreign cartoonists to tell the true stories of ten awardees. The printed version of the comic book will be distributed at the ceremony and attached to OffBeat as well. Electronic version of the comic book is also available for convenience of the public.

Debut of the Exhibition

It will also be the first time for a GCA exhibition to be held. The exhibition at Ma On Shan Plaza to be held between August 29 and September 4 consists of photo shooting booths of the four figures in the Good Citizen Alliance, as well as exhibition areas for the GCA comic book and history of GCA.
