Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST), in conjunction with New Territories South Police Tactical Unit, New Territories South Regional Crime Prevention Office and Police Dog Unit mounted an anti-burglary operation on August 31 at villages and foothills from Castle Peak Road - Ting Kau to Castle Peak Road - Tsing Lung Tau. During the operation, apart from performing a high-profile patrol and intercepting suspicious persons in villages, officers conducted a burglary prevention campaign by distributing anti-crime flyers to villagers. The operation not only fostered villagers’ awareness of home security, but also demonstrated to lawbreakers the Force’s determination in combatting burglaries.
