Commissioner Siu Chak-yee visited the Police Tactical Unit of New Territories South (PTU NTS) on September 18 to communicate with officers. He listened to the officers’ views on duty deployment, manpower, welfare, equipment and development of the Force. The Commissioner also solicited their opinions on the Force’s new measures for supporting the frontline and explained the concept for promoting the initiative. He appreciated the officers for their devotion to duty displayed during the 25A security operation, which had contributed to its smooth execution. The officers thanked the Commissioner for his visit and took the opportunity to communicate with him directly so as to gain a better understanding of the Force’s development.
