Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) held an Intermediate Command Course in September for the participants to interact with secondary school students. Through team building exercises, both parties fostered mutual understanding and collaboration to achieve common goals. The participants also held a dialogue with African community members based in Hong Kong to understand more about the mutually beneficial ties between China and African nations.

In the Senior Command Course (SCC) held in October 2022, participants learned of the remarkable leaps made by the China Manned Space Program, including the research development and launching of the ‘Tiangong space station’. Meanwhile, the participants’ strategic perspectives, critical thinking, and mastery of self was enriched by studying the Art of War and abstractly applying its principles through playing the game of Weiqi. In concluding the SCC, Acting Commissioner Lau Chi-wai shared her insights about the National Security capability of the Force and its significance in protecting Hong Kong.
