Public Relations Wing organised a virtual exchange programme for members of the Singapore National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) and Junior Police Call (JPC) at JPC@PH on October 29. Students from 37 schools joined the programme, which aimed to foster communication between youngsters in the two places and widen their horizons.

During the programme, members of JPC and NPCC shared their experience in joining various activities in the past. The former also introduced Hong Kong culture and local tourist spots. They even had competitions on simulated crime scenes and quizzes. The programme deepened the exchange between youngsters in the two places and enhanced their team spirit. Kwai Tsing District JPC member Wong Yat-ching said, “It is an honour for me to join this programme and to share the joy with members of NPCC. The quiz competition was a thrill. We could not have finished it without close cooperation and division of labour among the teammates. The programme has also increased my knowledge about policing work.”

NPCC is a uniformed group co-organised by the Singapore Police Force and the Ministry of Education. The group shares common goals as the JPC in enhancing youngsters' self-confidence and law-abiding awareness, nurturing their positive values and developing their leadership.
