Chief Executive (CE) Mr John Lee presented honours and awards at the 2022 Honours and Awards Presentation Ceremony in the Government House from November 5 to 7. A total of 86 Force members were recognised on the 2022 Honours List announced on July 27.


Senior Assistant Commissioner Lam Hiu-tong, Assistant Commissioners (ACPs) Rupert Dover, David Jordan and Tsang Ching-fo were awarded the Hong Kong Police Medal for Distinguished Service. Moreover, 22 officers received the Hong Kong Police Medal for Meritorious Service.


Furthermore, one officer was awarded the Medal for Bravery (Silver). ACPs Chiu Wing-lan, Kwok Ka-chuen and 9 other officers were presented with the CE’s Commendation for Government/Public Service for their outstanding performance in the Chief Executive’s Office/Security Bureau/Hong Kong Police Force. 46 other officers were presented with the CE’s Commendation for Government/Public Service for their outstanding contribution to the fight against COVID-19. A Senior Clerical Officer was awarded the Medal of Honour in recognition of her outstanding and dedicated service in the Force. One officer was presented with the CE’s Commendation for Community Service for his outstanding contribution to the fight against COVID-19.
