The Project ACHIEVE 2022/23 Inauguration Ceremony was held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on November 3. Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chan Man-tak, representatives of 17 local post-secondary institutions, over 300 members and over 100 Police ambassadors participated in the ceremony. Representatives of the Force and respective institutions officiated at the Ceremony to kick off the Project of this year.


Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) thanked the participating institutions, members and ambassadors for their continuous support. He stressed that the Recruitment Division, tertiary institutions and Police ambassadors would give full support to Project members in preparing for the selection process. He also encouraged the members to actively participate in Project ACHIEVE, and to interact with ambassadors to understand the duties of different Police units and the ways to equip themselves in achieving their goals. During the ceremony, ex-members shared their ways to realising their dreams and their experiences gained from the Project.


Besides, the Recruitment Division arranged 26 Project ACHIEVE members to visit the passing-out parade rehearsal at the Hong Kong Police College on November 23. 12 ex-members of Project ACHIEVE had successfully completed the foundation training. After the rehearsal, the ex-members shared keys to preparing for selection process and training with the Project ACHIEVE members. Achievement of the ex-members strengthened the Project members’ determination in joining the Force.
