Tseung Kwan O District (TKODIST) held diverse activities and competitions under its project “TKO’s Footprints”. The Tseung Kwan O District Joint School Anti-drug Competition was held at a secondary school in the district on December 10, 2022. The Competition aimed to raise the students’ anti-drug awareness, increase their knowledge about drugs and enhance their resilience and problem-solving skills through various competitive games and a Q&A session. A total of 80 secondary school student took part in the competition. District Commander of TKODIST Mak Man-yu, Chairman of the District Fight Crime Committee (Sai Kung District) Mr Ng Sze-fuk, Executive Director of the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Mr Chan Wing-kai were invited as guest judges of the competition. The championship went to Heung To Secondary School (Tseung Kwan O).


The Force has been committed to combating dangerous drugs. TKODIST will also combat the trafficking of dangerous drugs in the district, particularly targeting criminals exploiting students and teenagers for trafficking in dangerous drugs, in an intelligence-led approach. As for education, TKODIST will keep adopting the multi-agency and community-based approach to enhance the law-abiding awareness of teenagers to prevent them from being lured into taking dangerous drugs or committing offences.
