Invited by the Correctional Services Department (CSD) Shooting Club, the Hong Kong Police Shooting Club (PSC) joined the Inter-disciplined Services Invitation Police Pistol Combat (PPC) 600 Shooting Competition on January 15. It was the first PPC competition held since the outbreak of the epidemic. Nearly 70 shooters from the Force, CSD, Immigration Department, Fire Service Department, Customs and Excise Department as well as the Independent Commission Against Corruption took part in the competition. Eventually, PSC won Team runner-up. Sergeant Lam Chak-hung and Police Constable Wan Ling-sum proved their excellence by winning the individual champion and ladies’ individual second runners-up respectively.

PPC is a competition on shooting accuracy whilst PPC 600 is a shooting competition of 60 rounds at shooting distances between seven and 50 metres in different shooting positions. In addition to the training sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, PSC will hold the Force Annual Shooting Competition on April 29 for participation of the Force’s officers. The details will be posted on the Police NoticeBoard.
