The Force Swimming Team took part in the Short Course Masters Swimming Competition organised by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association on February 11. The Team’s strong performance was awarded with 8 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze medals. President of the Police Swimming Club (PSC) Mak Wing-yin joined the competition himself and led the Force’s Men and Women Teams to come third in the overall ranking. PSC congratulated members of the Force Swimming Team for their remarkable results in the competition.
The competition was the first one of the year for PSC. 43 swimmers represented the Force to compete with other swimming clubs in individual and relay races. At the same time, the swimmers trained hard to prepare for the World Police and Fire Games to be held soon. In addition to exchanging and improving swimming skills, members of PSC will take the opportunity to promote the positive image of the Force externally.
