President of Huaqiao University Professor Wu Jianping led a six-member delegation to visit the Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) and the Police Recruitment Centre on March 13 and to learn about the training contents and environment for probationary inspectors and recruited police constables, as well as the Force’s latest recruitment information and facilities.

Commissioner Siu Chak-yee, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chow Yat-ming, Director of Personnel and Training Choi Chin-pang, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Chan Man-tak and fellow officers later met the delegation at the Police Officers’ Club to thank the University for their full effort in cooperating and supporting the Police University Recruitment Express - Mainland and discussed future recruitment matters. The Force has always been adopting proactive recruitment strategies and will explore more collaboration opportunities with different tertiary institutions in the future.
