The Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) arranged Regional Commander of Kowloon East (RC KE) Dr Law Yuet-wing to attend the Senior Fellowship in Public Service Programme organised by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore in October 2022. Participants of the programme included senior executives from 56 countries and jurisdictions.

Against the backdrop of Asia, the six-week programme explored key issues, major trends, opportunities and challenges over the past decade through lectures, group discussions and case studies. Topics covered administrative leadership, policy management, technology development and a series of important contemporary social issues. The programme also included a number of “deep dive” sessions, enabling participants to gain insights into leadership and governance, not only from guest speakers but also by distilling and sharing of their own rich and diverse experiences, and to forge personal bonds between trainees. In the programme, RC KE exchanged administrative leadership experience, management challenges and views on different issues with other participants from different countries and territories.

HKPC will keep exploring more overseas training opportunities to prepare Force members to tackle the emerging challenges and tell the world the good stories of Hong Kong.
