The Hong Kong Police College (HKPC) joined hands with the Education Bureau to arrange guided tours to the Police Museum for more than 30 teachers from 26 schools on February 13 and 20. The teachers were introduced the “people-oriented” design concept of the museum and integration of technology in its curating strategy. The Museum Advisor, retired Senior Superintendent Ho Ming-sun, was invited to share the history of the Force with the teachers. HKPC officers also encouraged the teachers to actively arrange visits to the museum for their students. The teachers found that the visit deepened their understanding about the historical development and culture of the Force, and furthered their recognition of the Force’s contribution to Hong Kong for over a century.
