An eight-member delegation of the Force Rope Access Cadre went to Singapore between March 5 and 9 to visit the Special Tactics and Rescue of Singapore Police Force and the Disaster Assistance Rescue Team of Singapore Civil Defence Force, as well as a number of training facilities. They also exchanged various rope access techniques and shared experience on equipment maintenance with the local officers, with a view to enhancing the members’ professional knowledge and fostering their global visions. The visit has helped officers of the two places establish a communication channel and projected the professional and positive image of the Hong Kong Police Force.
