Hong Kong’s tourism is reviving upon easing of the epidemic. To prevent traffic accidents related to tourists or coach buses, and to maintain smooth traffic flow in the region, Traffic Kowloon West (T KW), together with the Districts in the Region, met with relevant departments and tourism industry stakeholders on March 28. The stakeholders included the Travel Industry Authority, Transport Department, Hong Kong Tourism Association, Kowloon City District Council Members, as well as representatives of coach bus companies and group dining restaurants.

The attendees exchanged opinions and provided suggestions proactively. Representatives of the departments deliberated on short-term traffic measures and coordinated future plans of the medium to long terms. The industry stakeholders indicated that they would take the initiative to dovetail with the proposals.
