The Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre and Integrated Youth Training Camp (JPC@PH) organised the JPC@PH Fun Day on April 22 and 23 to enhance public understanding of police work and the centre. The centre also arranged for police colleagues and their families to participate in the Fun Days held on April 8 and 9. Participants and their families spent a warm and unforgettable time together. The four Fun Days attracted participation of near 5 000 people.


Commissioner Siu Chak-yee and Assistant Commissioner (Public Relations) Chan Tung attended the Fun Day on April 23, during which they formed a team to compete with participants in a newly emerged sport to share the fun with the public. The Commissioner thanked the participants for their support of the Fun Day and expressed his appreciation to the staff and the volunteers for their hard work, which had enhanced public understanding of the Force and promoted harmonious family relationship.


The Fun Day featured a wide range of events, including the counter-terrorism demonstration, performance by the Police Dog Unit, music and dance shows. There were also over 20 different themed booths and a variety of exciting activities, such as zip line, rope course, abseiling, mini-PH Race, laser gun shooting, bouncy castle, horse riding and newly emerged sports.
