Director of Personnel and Training Choi Chin-pang led a six-member delegation of Hong Kong Police College to pay a courtesy visit to Guangdong Province between April 24 and 25. The visit aimed at pursuing full resumption of training exchanges between the Force and Guangdong Province, as well as exploring new opportunities for collaboration.


During the visit to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department and Guangdong Police College, all parties agreed to gradually resume relevant police trainings in Guangdong Province. Priorities will be accorded to newly joined officers, who will be arranged to visit the cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for enhancing their understanding of national development and strengthening their professional capabilities. Moreover, the delegation paid a visit to the China People’s Police University (Guangzhou Campus) to understand their training system, particularly on training programmes about unmanned aerial vehicle, counter-terrorism and handling emergency incident. Both parties looked forward to launching training exchange initiatives in the future.
