The Recruitment Division (RECDIV) held a Recruitment Express for members of Project ACHIEVE at the Hong Kong Police College on May 27 and 28. A total of 254 candidates underwent the Practical Incident Handling Test, Group Discussion Test and Physical Fitness Test, with a vast majority of them having passed the Group Discussion Test successfully. The result was encouraging indeed. Those who have achieved the eligible results will be arranged in turn to go through the selection process, including the Final Interview.

The Force attracts post-secondary students to join the Force through Project ACHIEVE. The Recruitment Express is organised to allow project members to kick-start the recruitment selection process before graduation and undergo training immediately upon completion of their studies. Over the past year, officers of RECDIV, together with Project ACHIEVE Ambassadors, have provided members with a range of activities, including visits to various Formations, participation in large-scale drills, Physical Training Workshops, and Interview Skills Workshops, to enhance the members’ interview skills and understanding of the Force, for them to get well prepared to join the Force.
