Hong Kong Island (HKI) organised a Regional Fun Day at the Police Officers’ Club on July 22 and 23 for regular officers, auxiliary officers and civilian staff to enjoy time with their family members. The lively event attracted nearly 4 000 participants. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Regional Commander of HKI Kwok Ka-chuen thanked the colleagues’ families for their support and understanding that had allowed officers to commit themselves fully at work to serve the public. He also conveyed his gratitude to all helpers and volunteers for their efforts in making the event a success.

The Fun Day featured a wide range of activities, including performances by Police Band and Police Dog Unit, exhibition of police vehicles, equipment and uniforms, virtual shooting experience and booth games to introduce policing duties and crime prevention messages.
