Senior Superintendent of Digital Policing Services Bureau of Information Systems Wing (ISW) Swalikh Mohammed, upon invitation of the Civil Service College, shared the Force’s experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) to search and rescue (S&R) solutions at the “AI-Powered Public Services – Application and Regulations” seminar held at the North Point Government Offices on September 4. Other speakers, including civil servants and industry representatives, gave presentations respectively on how the government should apply AI and big data, and management options and application of generative AI.


The seminar attracted participation of 342 delegates from 53 government departments. During the seminar, ISW officers announced the upcoming roll-out of the mobile app HKSOS. Incorporating other innovative technologies such as RescueAI, the mobile app aims to create a new smart rescue ecosystem for faster S&R progress.
