Between August 21 and 25, the Police Judo Club (PJC) held a five-day summer judo course for children, attracting over 20 children of regular officers, auxiliary officers and civilian staff. The then Acting Deputy District Commander of Sham Shui Po District Wong Wai-yin, and PJC Chairman Lau Ka-yip attended the summer course graduation ceremony and presented certificates to the course members. The officiating guests encouraged the children to make good use of the summer vacation, acquire knowledge beyond textbooks and learn to respect each other through judo. In addition, the course members demonstrated what they had learnt amidst the cheering of their parents on the graduation day.

All regular, auxiliary and civilian staff members of the Force are welcome to join the PJC. For enquiries, please contact Sergeant Chan Wai-cheung at 9579-8980.
