The Police Tactical Unit Headquarters (PTU HQs) organised in January and February a total of five seminars attended by over 400 officers from all Regions, Tier 1 and tactical units. The seminars covered various aspects, including high-profile patrol, search for missing person at risk, rural search and rescue, and crowd management operation, aiming to enhance the operational readiness and professionalism of frontline officers.


Commandant of PTU HQs Mok Hing-wing made the opening address at each seminar and highlighted the importance of the operational aspects mentioned above. The speakers elaborated the essence of the operations with abundant real-life examples. The participants also actively took part in experience sharing and the table-top exercises. They all agreed that the seminars could enhance their efficiency and professionalism in handling the relevant operations. They would also share the key points of the seminar with other frontline officers through internal training within their respective units.
